We are quite proud of this new Straitjacket. We started by looking at the classic institutional canvas-and-leather straitjacket and made a few changes which we felt would make it more appropriate for our fetish/bondage clientele. First we changed the colors from the usual off-white with brown straps to black on black with attractive silver buckles. Second we went for a slightly more stylish cut. (It is unlikely that the hospital-restraint designers ever considered whether their jacket would look good on a lover or worn at a fetish-oriented metropolitan nightclub.) And lastly the canvas we used is still heavy duty but slightly lighter-weight. This makes our jacket more comfortable but still more than strong enough to hold up in serious erotic bondage situations. Since the straps are leather dry cleaning would be the ideal way to clean this garment. But we realize most of our clients will feel a bit shy about taking such an item to their local dry cleaners. Fortunately as with the institutional restraints the straps are heavy enough to stand up to hand washing or even a few machine washings. Just keep in mind that they may not look as good as they did when they were new if theyre washed in that way.All in all this is a serious high-quality fully functional straitjacket at a very reasonable price.
